Caudalie as you probably know is French and I’m French and of course I’m totally in love with Caudalie 🙂 When I started watching English’s gurus on YouTube, I was really surprised to see so many girls who enjoy this brand but I was chocked, especially for the USA to see how cost Caudalie’s products !!!! Just for your information in France it’s sold in drugstores and two times cheaper !!! Anyway these things happen if we let us take the example of L’Oreal and its firms, yes it’s french but it’s really expensive compared to the USA 😦
Let’s go back to Caudalie ! The other day I found a set : Divine indulgence set. I was so excited because I heard so many pretty things about Divine oil and never tried until now.
Divine oil
I have to admit that the packaging is quite something ! Glass bottle, wood lid, gorgeous thing but dangerous if you are clumsy ! About the smell, it’s really particular, in France we are used to feel this typical Caudalie’s smell, but for strangers I admit at first glance it can be disturbing. But this is something sweet, fresh and so spa.
I really love dry oils because they have a strong moisturizing power and let velvet-skin touch. For me the best way to test one oil is in winter, because we have more needs in hydration. Let me tell you this one is definitively GREAT ! Apply it right after your shower, you don’t have to wait too much to dress, skin is perfectly hydrated. My only regret for this product is that I see my bottle finish too fast.
Divine scrub
I’m not complicated and demanding, I like scrub that do their job with or without kessa mitt, but I hate ONE THING : greasy film on my skin. Some scrubs leave that and totally pissed me off because I’m feeling like I’m unclean. Thankfully divine scrub don’t do that 🙂 It has the same smell as the oil and let a soft skin. Again I say YES to this product !
I can’t say a lot on the Divine legs because it’s not the right season to apply some tinted body lotion. But I heard it has a very strong tan smell, lot of people don’t like it for that. Honestly I’ll try it when sunny days will return, but I already know that it will not be a fav’ !
It’s a shame that is so pricey abroad, Caudalie is a very good brand with fabulous products. I wish you know someone here in France to send you some of them 🙂
