My first DIY on the blog 🙂 don’t expect too much I’m clearly not a pro ! Today I’ll show you how to clean you jar candle, that’s something useful, and trust me it’s so easy to do !
What you need :
– one saucepan
– water (I know this is stupid to specify that)
– one sponge
– dish-washing liquid
– nail polish remover or surgical spirit
– cotton pad
– some elbow grease 😉
Step 1
Put your jars in the saucepan and add some water, not too much if you want your jars stay stable, and bring the water to a boil.
Step 2
Let the wax melt, once that is done pour the wax on paper towels. Of course at this point you can create a new candle, very simple : buy wick candle, put it in a new jar and pour the wax. I didn’t do it because I had not enough wax to create a new one.
Step 3
Laying down you jars in the saucepan, it’s gonna help to remove the soot and the glue.
Step 4
It’s time to arm yourself with your dish-washing liquid and sponge ! Let’s wash !
Step 5
Now you’ve almost done ! Take your nail polish remover or surgical spirit to definitively remove the traces of glue, guaranteed efficiency !
Step 6
Just admire your work et voila your jars are clean 🙂 I told you it was easy.
I hope you guys enjoy this DIY, it’s really easy and don’t take much time 🙂
